Fort Peck Community College has always been identified as a bold and aggressive change agent on the Fort Peck Reservation.

Welcome from the President

I began my learning experience at Fort Peck Community College years ago as a young mother and can testify that my experience was life changing, not only for me, but—more importantly—for my family. Being the first to attend college and to earn my degree inspired many members of my family to attend college. What an exciting life changing experience for an entire family!

Fort Peck Community College has always been identified as a bold and aggressive change agent on the Fort Peck Reservation. In the State of Montana, and among other Tribal Colleges and Universities, FPCC is considered a leader in Native American Higher Education. Today, with a new generation of independent learners who have technology at their fingertips, FPCC has focused on creating an engaged teaching and learning experience for students.

The need to thrive in a rapidly changing environment is a continuous challenge. FPCC has to stay nimble and flexible to new generations of learners, new issues, and ever-changing technology. FPCC students are our greatest asset, and their curiosity and energy are the driving forces behind our institutional development. FPCC’s dedicated staff and faculty make a lasting impression on students, forming long-lasting relationships and supporting individual and institutional success.

FPCC offers students and community members the opportunity to grow academically, and importantly, to grow culturally. As our mission statement states, “FPCC serves the people of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation and northeastern Montana as a medium of Indian awareness enabling increased self-awareness”.
