Recently added for Fort Peck Health Symposium  For SWP/MFT/LAC there is 17 hours of continuing education credits allowed for this symposium. Fee for the credits is $200.
Fort Peck Health Symposium  A public health symposium to engage the community about the prevalence and impacts of current and historical trauma on health across the lifespan, discuss community-based approaches to address trauma, and provide an opportunity to develop a plan to become a trauma-informed tribal community. Professionals in medicine, nursing, social work, education, the judiciary system, and law enforcement, as well as community members, are encouraged to attend. Learn More »
About Fort Peck Indian Reservation  The Fort Peck Reservation is in northeastern Montana, 40 miles west of the North Dakota border and 50 miles south of the Canadian border, with the Missouri River defining its southern perimeter. It includes more than two million acres of land (110 miles long and 40 miles wide). It is home to the Assiniboine and Sioux Tribal Nations, each composed of numerous band and divisions. The duly elected governing body is the Tribal Executive Board, composed of twelve members, a chairman, vice-chairman, secretary-accountant and sergeant-at-arms.
